The year is 200X.

Humanity has co-existed with machine-kind for the past 300 years, sentient machines for the past 75.

RAPT-4 is a Bounty Hunter living in Focal Point City, a program created by machines to police their own. Known for his kinder nature than others and quickly climbing through the ranks, he's finally received his first bounty of the next threat level. A Maverick.

Aided by his friend and recent "man in the chair" EKF - Four rushes to the Solarium Plant, the lifeblood of all machines...

BREAKTHROUGH was created in RPG Maker 2003 with assets made in MSPaint/Procreate - a homage to the early era of the internet indie RPG days, as well as a personal love letter to a simpler age of graphics.

This is just a demo of the opening, or the planned opening for the most part! Though it's not quite COMPLETE complete (Mainly just battle animations) - I feel now as good a time to finally share its current state with the world for the first initial waves of feedback.  Also! File includes a nifty instruction manual!
